Man, was this a hard book to get my hands on!  I did an interlibrary loan after search WorldCat for over an hour.  The problem was, there aren't many still circulating in any library and I couldn't find one that had been translated into English from the Italian. 

The stories were a little gruesome, a little strange, and made me wonder if our sense of humor as Americans to Italians is as weird as the Italians sense of humor seems to Americans.  I enjoyed the tales but they didn't seem to have a moral to them.  I would say they were for a much older age group than what is in The Book which is...
