The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown

Apparently, long after the book was published, Clement Hurd redrew some of his pictures for this story. I couldn't find out why Hurd did this. It would be interesting to know. Some of the illustrations are in black and white and some are in color. They are simple but telling. The story itself is a good one for Storytimes. The book is small and I'm not sure if comes in a bigger format which would be ideal for Storytimes.
