The Baby's Catalogue

This book I would not recommend for storytime.  It is a book that is more for a mother to sit with a child on her lap and look through it.  The illustrations are nice and the book is more of what it is entitled, a catalog.  The British nuance's are throughout and make it a sweet book.

Two pictures may make some patrons (uptight patrons) upset.  There is a baby nursing and a baby naked in a tub.  For most patrons, this isn't even looked at as offensive.  But as a librarian there are the patrons who will put up a fuss about pictures like this.

I liked the illustrations and the simplistic nature of this book.  It's perfect for the 0-3 age category!
