Alfie is a little boy who doesn't want to go to sleep.  His father does everything he can to help Alfie get to sleep.  In the end, Alfie's father falls asleep and Alfie tucks him in and goes to bed himself.

This would be a great Father's Day themed storytime book.  Or Sleep themed storytime.  The pictures are cute, cartoonish like.  The story is probably for older 3 year olds--maybe 4 or 5 year olds.  Gunilla Bergstrom is Swedish and has written other Alfie adventures.  The books have been translated into 29 languages.
